UNIVERSAL ÆTHIC LAW

In a kinematical and dynamical physical universe, substance ultimately consists of discrete particles in ceaseless motion. Such ultimate particles are of such miniscule dimensions that intrinsic individual detection is impossible by even the most sophisticated scientific investigative methods. However, their existence can be inferred by observing the dynamic behavior of larger more complex physical structures. To conceptually grasp and picture these primitive particles and describe their properties requires deductive reasoning. Such primary entities manifest no externally visible properties, such as poles, fields or magnetism that could render them visible through chemical or nuclear interactions, so there seems at first little else left to consider than elementary kinematics. Interactions of Elastic Particles nominally follow basic rules of geometry and physics, since they are presumed to be purely physical and mechanical in nature, however it is hoped that the alternative presented here will lead to a more rigorous definition of the laws of momentum conservation for the sub-quantum.

It is customary to regard objects as being essentially at rest, and motion being the result of the application of forces, and this naturally leads to the concept of acceleration. This view is somewhat an inside out perspective occasioned by the fact that the true speeds of objects are concealed within a sub-quantum world. Locally all things are in motion at approximately the same speed, and absolutely stationary objects are virtual impossibilities. These speeds are immensely high, having only small variances within any locally circumscribed region. The movements of nearly stationary physical objects are, in reality, relatively slow migrations of vast populations of smaller high speed particles, where the movements of individual subset particles have become indiscernible. The very concept of acceleration may be inapplicable at the most fundamental levels, where Mass and Inertia have not yet manifested, and this could conceivably require a conceptual overhaul at the sub-quantum level.

NEWI: Are our units of measure suitable to discover and unlock the secrets of the inner worlds? Do these units conceal from us the real inner workings of matter?

Discoveries are typically the result of observations, collecting data, and determining quantifiable properties of observed phenomena. This note taking requires adopting universally accepted Units of Measure in order to provide descriptions in terms others understand. At the same time, the procedural evolution of the so-called Scientific Method went apace with the need to supply Proofs, primarily in the form of mathematical analyses. Unfortunately, the units of measure in use at the early stages of this development were borrowed from the worlds of commerce. These units were pounds for weight, feet for length and days for time. For convenience these were subdivided into ounces, inches and hours, and other smaller more manageable units with which to transact business. All of these units were entirely arbitrary, usually based on the weight of an average brick, the length of a king’s arm, or the rate rotation of the earth, which needless to say could have just as easily been based on other equally pertinent quantities. This anthropometric convention immediately turns the metrics of physics inside out, by demanding that subatomic phenomena be described in terms of minute fractions of large arbitrary units. Since it is unlikely that any of these units are sensible multiples of actual subatomic entities, a completely disjointed system of relative scales has resulted. This artificial mathematical world is filled with bewildering arrays of negative exponents and constants whose relationships are a mass of obfustications. Unquestionably this produces confusion and intimidation in laymen, who have little time or opportunity to immerse themselves in this Esoterica to learn the secret handshakes. When in past the great discoveries of physics followed one another in rapid succession, these units were in such entrenched use that reforming them was impossible, and therefore were applied to the solution and documentation of scientific problems unmodified. Efforts to make kilograms out of pounds and centimeters out of inches make calculations easier in practice, but are just as arbitrary. When used to calculate the strength of beams, the work required in moving loads, or the time required to perform tasks, there is little need for change. When the same methods and units are used to quantify things too small to be seen directly or to describe things whereof the inner workings are only dimly perceived, problems arise. It is tempting to define these quantitatively in terms of conventional measurement units, confident that this has defined the phenomena. The Perspicacity of students of the sciences is, more often than not, questionable as they are apt to be mainly interested in the practical side of their particular branch, having often only a vague or non-existent understanding of underlying causes. Having ready-made and well-documented rules and formulas make study so much easier. Discussions of charges, fields and forces revolve about their magnitude and direction, but rarely touch on their nature and cause. This narrative avoids shortcuts employing mathematical symbolisms, or proofs using algebraic manipulation, since the primary goal is to provide concise verbal descriptions that can be intuitively grasped and mentally pictured. NEWI: How are we to explain a concept without sanctioned terminologies?

To streamline the process of description, some linguistic conventions have been devised to overcome the lack of æther terminology resulting from a long standing literary neglect. Various authors have adopted a variety of unique nomenclature that consciously avoids the same terminology used by others, which has resulted in some unavoidable duplicity. This is natural, as it provides a kind of intellectual insulation to separate the elements of one concept from another, and insures that other similarly named concepts or theories do not necessarily become lumped together as one supposedly unified whole. One of the major tasks for science in the future will be the disambiguation of this terminology. Each current æther theory has conceptual flaws, this one being no exception, and until a more unified and accepted view can emerge, it is undoubtedly wise for each author to keep segregate their individual perceptions. Words and definitions connected with the æther have been ignored by mainstream science, so that clear and accepted Terminologies have not evolved. Obviously a scientific community that does not believe in a certain concept has little need to define and describe components of it. Thus the most fundamental mass unit of the universe remains officially unnamed. There have been many attempts to create sensible labels, but none are in general use, but remain within the confines of limited discussion groups. However, in order to avoid sounding clumsy and repetitive, it is necessary to simply issue our own verbal coinage, with the understanding that these are not attempts at Protologism and need not be accepted into general use, but merely serve to facilitate the current rationalization.

NEWI: Is it possible to outline a system of properties of the aether that would need to be true for this paradigm to be valid?

To facilitate this discussion, basic concepts are summarized in a sequent system of simplified Axiomatic Laws. These are not to be confused with any generally or popularly held concepts in current use, although many clearly reflect existing ideas and norms. They are intended merely to be ground rules that allow the discussion to proceed and avoid Tautologies. These are primarily A Priori, and are not based on specific experiments or provable tests, but can be compared to the assumptions and corollaries used in the mathematical sciences to assist in proofs.

THE FIRST LAW

ÆSPACE IS A FEATURELESS VOID

ÆSPACE is an infinite empty VOID. Æspace contains nothing. There are no forces, fields or any forms of energy in Æspace. Æspace itself has no properties. Æspace cannot be measured, and has no maximum or minimum extent. There are no DIMENSIONS in Æspace other than the three mutually perpendicular geometric dimensions which are merely arbitrary intellectual descriptive references. There is no initial reference point in Æspace. Time is non-existent and irrelevant in empty Æspace. Æspace has no beginning or maximum duration. Æspace is the only definable INFINITE. Æspace is simply the absolute absence of everything.

 

THE SECOND LAW

ÆTHUM ARE EXCLUSIVE PARTICLES

The PHYSICAL UNIVERSE existing within Æspace has only one type of absolutely identical PARTICLE  the Æthum.

THE ÆTHUM

AETHUM are a single Mobius loop of a circulating substance in the form of torus. The total energy of this loop cannot be directly changed.

THE THIRD LAW

ÆTHA ARE SPHERICAL

The basic element of an aetha is a moibus surface that is in very high rotation. This surface has fallen into a trivial knot that allows all edges to align in common motion. All surfaces move in unison in an aetha.

 

THE FOURTH LAW

ÆTHA ARE DISCRETE AND SEPARATE ENTITIES

Ætha are discrete individualized sub-quantum particles. These are real self-sufficient particles made of an energetic material essence, and not simply waveforms in another medium. As independent particles they can be located anywhere within Æspace.

*The exact details of how such internal streams maintain their structural and dynamic integrity is well beyond present knowledge, such understanding being totally eclipsed by our ignorance, and clarification of these matters shall be at the pleasure to future generations. What can be understood today is that all properties such as motion, direction, velocity, inertia, force, mass and weight all originate on separate but dynamically linked successive layers of reality. Within each respective layer complete and comprehensive orders of time exist. The more primitive layers having limited functional complexity provide foundations for those superimposed upon them by assuming the more fundamental tasks. The increasingly complex and synthetic properties of higher levels are not present in the lower, so that a strictly demarcated and specific set of laws applies within each layer. The beauty of a Holonomic creation is in the economy of purpose, and the absence of duplicity of effort, so that what is created in one time realm is no longer necessary to be re-created within the next. To presume otherwise, that universal tasks are not rigorously ordered and functionally subdivided is an imprudent philosophical stance.

THE FIFTH LAW

ÆTHA PHYSICALLY OCCUPY THREE DIMENSIONAL SPACE

 

Ætha have a physical province occupying a spherical volume of space. They have length, breadth and width, and are not simply geometric points in space.

 

THE SIXTH LAW

TWO OR MORE ÆTHA CANNOT OCCUPY THE SAME SPACE

 

Individual physical boundaries of Æthum are spatially impenetrable by other Æthum. The space province occupied by Æthum is uninfringeable and untouchable and cannot be occupied simultaneously by other Æthum.

 

THE SEVENTH LAW

ALL MOTION IS LINEAR

Particles move through Æspace at unvarying linear speed without limit of magnitude. Æthum motion may be in any direction. Ætha in flight follow perfect rectilinear trajectories in absolute obedience to Newton’s First Law of Motion. The magnitude of this speed of linear motion represents a portion of the total aggregate particle momentum.

 

THE EIGHTH LAW

ALL MOTION IS CONSTANT

The velocity of Ætha will remain unchanged indefinitely, except when modified by a COLLISION ENCOUNTER. Only Collisions with other Ætha can change the course and Velocity of an Æthum. There are no forces or fields present in Æspace to either accelerate or retard the progress or divert or modify the heading of Ætha, thus obeying Newton’s Second Law of Motion.

 

THE NINTH LAW

VELOCITY IS FINITE THOUGH INFINITELY VARIABLE

The finite velocity of Ætha is infinitely variable. Velocity is determined relative to an absolute origin. The magnitude of the velocity cannot exceed the velocity charge imposed at the origin.  Relative velocity is the difference between two absolute velocities.

 

THE TENTH LAW

ÆTHA INTERACTION  IS BY PHYSICAL COLLISION

 

 

Interaction takes place by process of COLLISION. Ætha cannot bond, merge or combine in any permanent nuclear or chemical synthesis whatsoever.

SUBJECT:  BASIC DEFINITIONS

Re:  Universal Reference

Unless one is willing to accept an improbable instantaneous creation theory for both matter and the aether, then one is compelled to acknowledge that aether itself is also an ongoing creation carried out over time. Unlike matter, the aether is constructed entirely in AEspace, and therefore the power of an external medium cannot be invoked to provide cohesive forces required for containment. An all encompassing universal aether sphere modeled on a simple ideal gas analogy would be subject to continuous dispersion and quickly dissipate into the depths of space. However as any reasonable cosmologist is fully aware, despite some evidence of modest growth and evolution, the universe is essentially static.  The logical premise is that in a singular universe, there can be only one location where aether is created, and that is at the center.  Even the universe had an Incipiency, and this must have been at an arbitrary point in space, and grew therefrom spinning the vast and unfinished cocoon we see today.

Comment:

The logical requisite which common sense makes unavoidable, and which can hardly be regarded as presumptuous reasoning, is that the universe must be positioned at the center of itself

 

If the disputatious and polemic objections against the creation of an æther are laid aside, then the only elements of the argument remaining are the larger questions of where this creation takes place, and why.

 

The why of the matter, being a more subjective topic, cannot be answered in any direct and detailed way, but the where issue is an objective one, and answering the latter provides answers to the former by Induction.

 

NEWI: Do all the laws that apply to us in the physical domain apply equally at sub-quantum levels of reality?

The major difficulty confronting æther theory has been how to adequately explain interactions which occur on the sub-quantum level that ultimately surface in the physical world as both matter and radiant phenomena. Much of the current rationale is handicapped by the thoughtless application of laws which, though derived through impeccable logic in the physical world, are being stretched and distended well beyond their original intention. The æther, if not merely a false Noumenon, must ultimately consist of innumerable instances of tangible energetic substance, which are then customarily assumed to be endlessly colliding according to  laws governing the acceleration of masses, and the conservation of momentum. This presupposes this substance to be composed of little miniature masses subject to the same laws as larger masses, and that they would lend themselves to the same analytical methods. A severe philosophical deadlock has been consequent upon this hasty assumption. The key to unlocking this impasse is to realize that in the physical world, that which Explicitly masquerades as mass is attributable to the accumulated time delays of activities taking place in a non-inertial Virtual mass sub-quantum world.

NEWI: Is acceleration of masses at the sub-quantum a viable scientific concept? Are there mechanisms at such small scales that can produce changes to speed? Can elasticity exist at these subatomic scales?

Acceleration, as expressed in the common understanding, means the speeding up or slowing down of objects, and this requires that kinetic energy is either supplied or removed, which is an energy transaction or exchange. If the activities play out in arenas (such as the sub-quantum world) where rudimental levels of mechanical interaction prohibit direct transactions of any form of kinetic energy, then these exchanges are deferred to subsequent and more evolved explicit levels of manifestation (physical matter). Upon the most basic primary and cardinal realm of action, such as the temporary contact interface of colliding aethum, the assigned functions (level dependent laws) are primal, consisting only of uninterruptible intrinsic motion. The pre-quantum realm within which the ætha is operational is devoid of means by which the speed of manifested motion can be varied, so that within it the only alterable property is the direction Vector. Interactions between ætha in the strictest sense are therefore not elastic collisions, but spatial redirections of self contained and *unstoppable magnitude invariant energy streams. These are time dependent transpositions requiring directional modification and Homeomorphic topological distortions. Such physical distortions of the particles indicate a flexible nature which leads directly with inescapable certainty to Existence of a structure within ætha.

ALBI: What is meant by a Universal Reference? Is the aether fixed, or is it fluid? Can absolute velocity exist?

The supposition of a universal reference has been a difficult philosophical hurdle because to imagine how distance and bearing could be reckoned across the vast and fluid distances of space seems almost impossible. When space was declared empty and the æther non-existent all means to understand this concept also deserted science. Such a central origin does indeed exist, but the location cannot be discovered by a simple system of Cartesian Coordinates. Only the inverse square law functions across the emptiness of Æspace, so that the only law that can apply is the diminution of power or force with respect to the origin. At any location remote from the origin, the Æther has to fill a greater volume of space, and therefore exerts work in an ever decreasing pressure gradient. Issuing forth from the origin at the geometric center of the physical universe is an endless stream of ætha particles, each one infused with an identical Aggregate momentum charge or load. Seen externally, such a charge manifests within each particle in two Aspectual properties, first as a forward linear momentum component, which is seen as velocity, and secondly as a latent momentum component, which is perceived as apparent (virtual) mass. The aggregate momentum of each particle remains constant with respect to the universe origin. Since these aspects are one and the same existing within a single particulate entity, their internal reapportionment is permissible without energy transaction losses. The fraction that is latent momentum manifesting as virtual mass is in complementary proportion to the manifested speed relative to the absolute origin. If the linear momentum is high, then the latent momentum is low, and the particle has a small (virtual) mass. Conversely when the mass is high the velocity with reference to the absolute origin is low. A head-on collision between two particles attempts to bring about resolution of differences by averaging individual velocities with regard to the absolute origin and bring them into Equilibrium. Slower particles are able to convert latent momentum into speed, and faster ones are able to convert and deposit excess speed into latent momentum. Relative to the absolute point of collision impact, each particle now reëmerges with the same speed, which is one half their initial relative speed. Wide disparities between particle speeds are therefore short lived because of this perfect and highly effective positive and negative Feedback compensation mechanism.

In the above diagrams the center point represents a fixed location in space relative to the universe origin. The absolute velocities of the particles is indicated by the vector arrows, markings on the perimeter are the mutual angle of incidence of collision. Figure a shows a collision between a slow particle (red circle) and a fast particle (blue circle), and their average velocity (black circle), which is also equal to one half of their relative velocity. If the particles collide head-on they will both rebound in the opposite direction and their new vectors will both end on the black circle. At other angles of incidence (23 degrees shown) the fast particle will go to the yellow circle, and the slow one in the exact opposite direction to the turquoise circle. Their sum always equals the relative velocity. In Figure b the same collision is shown but where the ratios of the absolute velocities is smaller, but the same rules apply. In Figure c the process has reached completion, and all collisions produce the same velocity result regardless of the angle of incidence, and a state of Isotropism exits.

ALBI: How can particles of the aether collide without losing energy as the law of elasticity would normally predict? Is anything transfered between particles during a collision?

It is self evident that in a pre-quantum medium even the most insignificant energy loss* would be an unacceptable and intolerable defect. Furthermore, in the visualization of the collision interactions that occur in this realm the classical conceptual analogies of the acceleration of bouncing rubber balls, no matter how efficient they may be envisioned, must also be completely removed from consideration. The stupendous speeds and energies that prevail in these realms precludes the idea of acceleration, as classically understood, taking place there. In fact it would seem that acceleration is a rather clumsy and unmanageable means to manipulate the phenomenal energies that can be comfortably assumed to exist there. Since the closing speeds of collisions may occur at twice the local speed of light, it is in any case doubtful that there is time enough to allow meaningful velocity changes of any sort. Intuitively speaking a form of continuous motion seems more practical and eminently simpler, and leads to a more acceptable and superior premise.  Internally ætha can then be reduced to a single unbroken and unmodifiable stream of an energetic essence, and when this collides externally, merely alters course and redistributes the internal and external momentum components. Nothing is then exchanged between particles in this process, satisfying a need for them to remain fundamentally unchanged by interactions. Given that this does not involve acceleration of the momentum stream, then forces or losses associated with exchanges of kinetic energy do not play a role either. Even here speeds are finite and things take time, so that delays of time are inevitably present, and these if rigorously examined, are imitating acceleration. At this most basic pre-material level, mass and force are absent as quantifiable properties, so that the established mathematical relationships that predict and quantify acceleration cannot be presumptuously applied.

*Perhaps it is good to look at energy loss in a different way for the purpose of this discussion, as in the pre-quantum world there is also some form of corruption of the internal energies of circulation with time. It is impossible to expect that something could actually run forever without either losing energy or decaying, but it is reasonable to assume that the collision encounter serves to regenerate both particles to a new state of pristine orbit integrity. They then begin a process of degeneration and orbital decay, but before any significant decay occurs they are once again struck by other particles and are reset. In our world this decay time might actually be only microseconds, but the collisions occur in fractions of a nanosecond, which is millions of times more rapid. The particle never has the opportunity to decay entirely, and is refreshed billions of times each second just as are all other particles in the aether. Each particle shares the energy profile of neighboring particles comensurate with the distance to the point of origin.

In the above illustration, the basic structure of an aethum is shown. Within each particle one half the elements travel in one direction through the particle while the other half travel in the opposite direction around the outside. The venturi cone reconstructs itself continuously along the line of travel, which is the actual motion of the particle. A collision simply wraps this rolling sock inside out, which can occur without energy loss. This allows for two versions of aetha, one where the outer circulation runs contra to the direction of flight, and one that runs with. The speed of the particle depends on how fast elements are traveling in one direction as opposed to the other.

ALBI: It sounds as if there is an inverse relationship between the relative mass and the absolute velocity in the aether, is this is the opposite of what relativity claims for mass?

The behavior of a center of mass also becomes more involved if the interactions on pre-matter levels do not include the concept of explicit fixed mass. The level that functionally supports the ætha is pre-inertial and so does not respond to acceleration, leaving only the ratios of true (absolute) velocities, effective virtual mass and mutual angle of incidence (contact parameter) as the dynamic factors governing the outcome of interactions. Using the principle of momentum charge equivalence of ætha, the interaction site of a head-on collision is a point of momentum resolution and redistribution and becomes a new source from which emerge two equal particles. The true nature of the conservation of momentum law can now be more fully realized, because it is not possible to convert more latent momentum into linear momentum than that which was represented by their initial relative velocity (assuming the collision axis is perpendicular to the universal gradient). The resultant relative linear momentum is the Complement of their combined virtual masses at collision, which is always in correspondence to the remoteness of the collision site from the universe origin.

The central origin and the universe rim, comprise a colossal source and sink system, with a negative Gradient from the center to the edge, so that æthic particles are always drifting slowly outward in an ever-so-slow Random Walk. Even though launched at immense initial speeds it takes untold ages for them to reach the rim from the center, because the progression is similar to Zeno’s paradox, where the relative speed continually diminishes but the distance ever increases.

ALBI: If the relative velocity is continually diminishing with increasing distance from the source, wouldn't the relative velocity ultimately become zero? Doesn't that mean there should be a detectable universal gradient?

A particle in the aether views the universe ahead of it as either hotter or colder, which is the only information it can obtain from collisions with other particles.

In any large circumscribed population the respective momentum aspects are in approximate equilibrium, yet this aggregate charge, being an equal individual endowment, always retains a relationship to the original source and origin no matter how great the distant becomes. At the source they are released as a large linear charge with a very small virtual mass, but ultimately this degenerates into almost pure latent momentum near the universe edge. At the extreme outer universe margin, the forward relative velocity component diminishes to zero, and the virtual mass approaches Unity so that the total aggregate momentum (at initial issuance) is almost wholly imprisoned within the particle. Large populations of these massive spent ætha collect at the universe rim forming a vast all encompassing and impregnable spherical shell. This peripheral region does not abruptly terminate in a crust like encasement, but is a smooth and continuous Consecution from origin to outer margin. Uninhibited universal growth is thereby limited by the natural formation of a skin-like inertial boundary layer within which the entire universe is accommodated. Indeed the universe does expand, but not by the rude and unprincipled vaults proposed by popular cosmologies, but by modest incremental territorial expansion occasioned by the consistent and uninterrupted addition of primal substance introduced at the origin. Collectively such real expansion is of grand proportions, but imperceptible within limited local circumscription.
